this guy says all of the right things – and yet, he was an early supporter of ronald reagan, a man who spent us nearly into ruin, intervened (illegally) in nicaragua and elsewhere, and fed the millitary-corporate complex more than any president in recent history (except for the current one, of course)
also, his libertarian views apparently don’t extend to women’s health care choices

I was born in Houston in the early 1970’s. My mom has been a US Government teacher for over 30 years. Back in the mid 1970’s, Ron Paul was one of the first politicians that I ever heard of. It was a sad day when I realized that he was among the exceptions and not the norm for those that would represent us in Washington DC.
I became active in the grassroots movement after the 2nd GOP debate in which the exchange between Ron Paul and Rudy Guilianni occurred. The complete and utter breakdown of the communication process that evening moved me to facilitate a Meetup Group in Florida. At that time in mid May, there were under 80 meetup groups, and about 5000 people. Presently, there is almost 50,000 people and over 1,000 meetup groups that exist.
For me personally, it is confounding that the very document that granted the US federal government the right to exist fails in many ways to constrain that entity. Ron Paul’s message of Limited Government and Liberty clearly resounds with me and millions of other Americans.
Humbly, I hope that you will push the envelope on this one and fully support this historic occasion. Freedom and Liberty are the bedrock upon which this Republic was built upon.
It’s watching videos like these that makes me glad I live in the UK. The contrast in electioneering between the 2 countries is vast. Does anybody actually believe any of the shite in these ads? It seems to be all about the personalities, not the politics. We sort of went down that road with Blair and I hope we are starting pull back from that now with Brown.
Im not sure what is says about the American people if candidates feel the need to communicate with voters in this way.
