Big day today for PodShow. After months of preparation, we finalize our move to the ‘DataBarn’, our new colo facility. Once everything is back up and stabilized we’ll start to roll out new modules and interfaces, some of which you may have already found on PS+ (new channels module).
In order to make the move, we will bring everything down around noon PST. This is expected to last about 6 hours. Due to the global nature of podcasting and independent media, it’s ‘prime time’ somewhere in the world, so we’ve put together a programming grid of new episodes and special videos to enjoy during the wait.
I’ve been through many similar upgrades/moves/cutovers in the past 15 years and from experience know that they are always gnarly and full of surprises. In advance, I thank the operations and engineering staff at PS HQ for their hard work and dedication. See y’all on the other side!

I thought it wasn’t supposed to move until later today. The current podshow site seems extremely unstable as it is now and we’re not moving yet!
With that, I am listening to Show #583 and Marc has been VERY offensive making fun of both Jews and Christians and even having a clip of a George Bush impressionist saying the Lord was “filing him with his love”. I am sorry…the DSC is NOT PCH! I listen to you because while you sometimes drop Fbombs and what not, you still have a great show and provide great information which is what the feed should provide. PCH is NOT what the DSC feed should have. Just my opinion. Next time, try to get someone similar to you (which would be hard).
