Adam: wise decision regarding dumping shownots – you are an artist and not flipping news service. That Chicago sausage is not listening to DSC but Podshow Inc keeps paying him 40,000 USD a year still although he is not listening to DSC? Anyway: you really need to relax and forget Podshow thingies, Adam. Of course going to Eurodisneyworld is good idea – I was there myself and I recommend the hotel in the Eurodisney complex that looks like new Mexico

Wordpress is seriously mucking up my feed by using the wrong enclosure, and would-be listeners are not getting the correct mp3 file.
However, I cannot join Podshow yet, because like so many others I signed up with what I thought would be my show name, but turned out to be my personal page. I know there are a myriad of problems to address with Podshow+, but PLEASE address this one soon! I cannot join the show until I can get my show name as my show page!

Neil: You’re not on the Show, but you’re on the list! One of the code monkeys wrote me back and it doesn’t sound promising that any time in the near future we will be able to use our show names for our show sites. So, what do we do until then? Wait? Use another subdomain and then switch them?

Do what you want, but dropping show notes so people will listen to the show all the way through is BS. That’s one of the great things about podcasting. That we can fast forward or rewind or listen any way we like. I thought this was about freedom for listeners to be in control of their experience?
I’m cool with the dropping of the show notes. I’ve also experienced by reading the show notes first spoils the listening experience.
We still are in control — just skip ahead if you don’t like what you hear, or listen to the next show in your “channel”.. If I can get into Podshow+…. SOOOOOOOOOO SLOOOWWWWWW!!!!!
Is there a blog or a place where we can see all the known errors? I posted some bugs I found on DSC #430 on curry.com..
I guess it depends on who you are on shownotes. I usually keep them fairly short and to the point, except on The Podsafe Music Hour when I reference all of the artists played/websites/songs.

Massyn: The slow time on Podshow is mostly on the “Mypage” section. They are adding servers to handle the added load of the great number of people that have opted-in to Podshow+

Adam, I need the show notes not to decide whether or not to listen to the DSC (that’s not even a question…of course I will listen) BUT I browse the shownotes to see which of the “dailies” I will listen to first because between DSC and PCH and some other daily podcasts I have to “program” my listening for the drive home and whatever is left is for the drive back into work the next day (I sync my ipod at work).

Massyn – I am not 100% sure of a single source where all the really cool features, happenings, tips, tricks, and genereal information for PodShow can be found. It would be really cool if they had a ‘Garage’ or something like that to post all the information…..
