AC! dude! Is it my new pair of cans, or do you sound really crisp and baaaassssy.. Very nice, photograph the settings on your mixer and treasure it! Perhaps there’s some Heill PR40 magic going on … Anyway, keep it up! Lady Paay rules!

By the way, I once seen a Mediaplayer movie play at 1.4 times the speed .. it was perfectly understandable, and finished at almost half the time … so if a long show is pending … play it twice the speed ;-)

Here is the toilet i was talking about in the VM. http://www.totousa.com/

Was it TMI in the VM? Probably, but I’ve found that people with chronic diseases are just really open when it comes to talking about them.

Hey Adam – ManlyGeek talked about 2nd Life on his recent podcast, show 008. One of the benefits he mentioned was that it gives one the ability to try out things virtually and take risks there. That in turn may give one the confidence to try the things out in the Real.

Adam, sorry for not putting this in the tuesday show comments but i’m hoping you’ll see this. just listening to tuesdays ep discussing your body overheating problem. i has the same issue, and the thing i found being the problem was me being dehydrated. so the coffee and the spliff’z would certainly hydrate you. drink plenty of water and it will bring you and Patrica together.

    Hope this helps

    Jester

    Patricia + Cowbell = Gold!!!!

RUBBERHEAD, your remix made my day! (Though I’m still holding to hope that Patricia can be hypnotized to spend just one day in the studio for one song for the PMN.)

AC and Lady P, thanks for the explanations and backgrounds of Patricia’s musical background and experiences. And for not making too much fun of my enthusiasm for some of the great artists I’ve discovered on the PMN. There’s some amazing talent there.

Po-po Dusche… Sounds sort of silly, doesn’t it? Like something for small children. I guess that it aims to be disarming, but better than Arsch-/After-/Hinterndusche, eh? Would either seem vulgar or bizarr IMHO.
Thanks to Ms.Paay for the soothing words vis à vis Podsafe Music. It sounded a bit snobby in the last cast. Obviously I wasn’t alone in thinking that, but then again, it’s hard to know how to take things from people you don’t know. ;=)

Hey adam, does christina use a mac? Because i was planning on getting one. But most UK schools like mine use pcs.

PCs suck. Why do all our english schools use them. Macs are the best, i don’t care if schools dont use the mac im still buying one.

AdamC, my comments to this episode:

    — speaking of toilets: in Second Life (SL) go to “CSB Labs” (find/places) and now I have a toilet in my office in SL!!! Everybody is welcome to come and sit – on chairs or on the toilet.

    — URLs to bands/music on PMN are 10000000000 times too long

    — too much talk about music. You forget that podcasting is MAINLY about 3 things: talk, talk, talk.

    — Patricia tried everything? Really? But what about bongos? BTW: this improvising cowbell-Patricia was cool. She should do more of it and write some songs for PMN too!

    — agreed: quality of voice of audio comments is not the most important, but the content is. Keep audio comments coming through ALL channels! Of course keep in mind that still radio has one advantage over podcasting which is LIVE PHONE-IN so work on this some time too.

    — regarding Britney from SL: [drool] [drool] [drool] Tell her to offer me teleport once I am online and I will do her on the spot any time any place.

    — thanks for cool gopher humor and the music!!!

    — Patricia butting in into the talk about SL was funny!!! Haha

    — you blocked out Anji B, AdamC? Wow. What happened? Buy her (virtual) flowers or strip dancer or something!!!

    — regarding Patrica, nagging you that you spend time in Second Life: tell her: “bugger off, darling, I have my mid-life crisis and while other peopel live it out through extra-marital adventures, I am enjoying myself in Virtual Reality instead. You should be happy for me!”.

Steven Stewart : “Patricia + Cowbell = Gold!!!!”? And what about Patricia and bongos? Maybe AdamC could ask Patricia what are her feelings about bongos and making a song with bongos?

tdcool : because Macs deliver less power per buck than PCs. Simple!

PS. I am preparing series of comic strips about Second Life and also podcasting. Any ideas about it are welcome too!

I also noticed you sound much, much better on this episode. Even the voice messages sound better. Wow. And I’m using crappy headphones I liberated from United business class.

I did a soundseeing tour of a buttwashing toilet a while ago. (After a few beers it seemed like a good idea.) Chris Rockwell played in on The Daily Download.
    http://www.mixplay.com/DDbandwidthHelp/DailyDownload_08_08_2005.mp3

The sound quality was better on the original. It’s a binaural recording.

Feedback from listeners ranged from “That was the best podcast I’ve ever heard” to “You are a really sick fuck.”

Skinge is not yet available for puchase on the PMN. But they have a podcast (Il Podcast di Skinge) where they have 3 songs a 1 video available for free download, including Non c’e’ piu’ niente, available through I-Tune.

Sorry – I used the short form of my name in my first comment, and attempted to correct it, to avoid confusing with the another Dan Gully in SL. Sorry for the duplication… CSB, i will come try out your toilet.
